The Center for Applied Economic Research (CAER) continues the long-standing tradition of OSU economists’ involvement in public policy analysis, regional economic development and economic forecasting. CAER is home to the Oklahoma State Econometric Model, the state’s only large-scale econometric forecasting model. The Center also aims to facilitate funded opportunities for economics faculty and students to conduct applied economic research.
